Finding Balance
Finding balance in your life is a constant battle you will have within yourself. When I say finding balance I mean, making time for all of the facets in your life that you NEED. You need to eat, sleep, use the bathroom, shower/groom yourself, socialize with friends, spend time with your family, and work. This is just the basics! We have to clean our homes, do laundry, and dont even get me started if you have kids and they have their own activities.
When I say to find the balance in life, I want you to balance out doing the things you HAVE to do with the things you LOVE to do. Make sure you do something for yourself at least once a day. We can get so caught up in doing things for everyone else that we stop doing things for ourselves. This will deplete your energy and leave you feeling unsatisfied. If you continue doing this for a long period of time you will get lost in doing things for everyone else and you wont even know what makes you happy anymore. Ask me how I know this! Really, I have done this and I think most of us have at some point.
If we deplete our energy we can’t do things for anyone. You cant pour from an empty cup! This will run you into the ground. So do something nice for YOU today! Whether it’s taking a bath, a walk around the block, listening to your favorite book or podcast, organizing your closet, or doing your own nails. All of these things will give you a good boost to your energy! Check in with yourself. Journal when you can if that is what you find helps.
